“Emotional Topography and the Memory of Skin” (ETMS) is a series of paintings created by layering gesso on top of a wooden panel or linen canvas, and then finger painting over the materials. These landscapes represent vestiges of different experiences ranging from great successes, traumatic experiences and everything in between. This particular painting is inspired by the works of composers Burr van Nostrand and Bach.
